This post was sponsored by P&G as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Cardinal. I received gratis products to facilitate my review.
For Father's Day this year, I knew I wanted my kiddos to craft up something special for their daddy, so off to Pinterest I went.
I saw the cutest finger paint idea from Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, using sticker letters! And so when my girlfriend texted me maxim that nosotros should become the kiddos together for a playdate that day… I knew it was the perfect time to attempt this finger paint craft out!
"I Beloved You Daddy" Finger Paint Art
I grabbed a small folding tabular array, and fix the "painting station," exterior in our dorsum one thousand. (Not that I don't trust our little hands to keep them on the sheet or anything) and prepped it for our little sweeties to go fix for some finger painting fun.
I had a few canvases, along with some scrapbook messages to create our finger paint art, and as ever… finger paint on hand for our painting-loving toddlers.
Trust me, if you lot're doing this, y'all'll want a LOT of newspaper towels on hand. Wiping the brushes after rinsing… wiping their hands off, wiping the tables off… just plan to accept 'em set up! They make clean-up a breeze because allow'southward face information technology, paint + toddlers = guaranteed mess.
It wasn't long, and the footling hands were gathered around the table, and nosotros were handing out instructions.
Instructions:
I practical the stickers ahead of time to spell out what I wanted, and so all the kiddos would have to do is paint around them. If they were a bit older, I would accept let them apply them, but I took one for the squad this time.
I adore how this arts and crafts thought, could practically exist for whatsoever holiday, or gift idea! Merely spell whatever you similar, and allow the kiddos go crazy with the painting!
Then, when the pigment dries, simply skin off the stickers, and you have a nice lilliputian message in bold white letters! Spotter what I hateful, through my pictures…
My friend had her kiddos do a piffling something different with theirs, by leaving space in the middle, to do some paw & footprints. Then, then cute!
Sometimes the messages that you become, may non stick SUPER well to the sheet, then you may take some paint "bleed," underneath. If that happens, a white paint pen can hands cover upwardly any leaks that you may have!
One time you remove the stickers and touch-upwardly any areas where it may have bled through… information technology'southward perfect for gi ft-giving!
Listen, we all know how I dearest simplicity in my life. Every bit a busy mom, shortcuts are gold. And then if it can go in the dishwasher… information technology'southward going to go in the dishwasher.
Make clean-upwardly was a cakewalk, because I was able to put my dirty paint dishes right in the dishwasher after our play-date, and my hubby never even knew what happened when he got habitation.
I absolutely loved turning our Father's Day arts and crafts-time into a play date with friends. Now, we are all prepare for Father's Twenty-four hour period, the kiddos were able to play, and the mommas were able to take some grown-up chat! All in all, information technology was a Fabled solar day!
I hope this Father's Mean solar day art project is something that y'all'd like to effort with your kiddos ane year. It was incredibly easy, and the kids LOVED information technology. Pinterest for the win!
